Saäda Bonaire, More Women, 1984
The concept from German DJ Ralph Richtoven based around his non musical model fiancee and her friend ,dressed in Bedouin wear, backed by up to 20 band members from all over the world shouldn't of ever worked. Except they scored a hit with “You Could Be More As You Are”. Captured Tracks unearthed the rest of the album that was never to be and 'More Women' is my choice cut from it. Pared back, and seductive vocals describe how they always get followed around by men in clubs, when they would in fact prefer 'more women'.
